Sacred Heart Catholic Elementary School is reviving the school-wide event, The Cultural Arts Fair. Each grade-level will present information about their chosen country through art, song, dance, food, and museum displays.
5th and 6th Grade students presented the Stations of the Cross for elementary students on Wednesday, March 28th.
Mina L. Burton has been named STAR Student for the 2017-2018 school year by the Mississippi Economic Council (MEC) M. B. Swayze Foundation, sponsors of the Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program.
Christina Danford, a student at Sacred Heart High School, has been selected for the 2018 High School Honors Performance Series at Sydney Opera House. She will perform violin in July with the International High School Honors Orchestra in Australia.
Sacred Heart Catholic School, coached by attorney Don Hinton, won the Championship Round of the Mississippi High School Mock Trial Competition for the sixth consecutive year. The statewide competition was held at the Hinds County Courthouse on Saturday, March 3.
The 2018 Salute! Sacred Heart committee would like to announce our upcoming fine wine and craft beer tasting. The third annual Salute! Sacred Heart will be held at the stunning home of Pam and Carr McClain, 1011 South 34th Avenue, Hattiesburg, on Saturday, April 7th, from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Larry Mixon, head coach of Sacred Heart baseball. He was the driving force behind the growth and success of the program, and he will be greatly missed.
Sacred Heart Catholic School will dismiss early on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, due to the weather.  The High School Campus will follow a PLC schedule. School will dismiss promptly at the following times: Elementary Campus –    1 p.m. High School Campus –  1:10 p.m.
Sacred Heart Catholic School will remain closed on Wednesday, January 17 due to weather conditions. We will reopen on Thursday, January 18.
