Hattiesburg, MS - The Heisman Trophy Trust announced the 2022 School Winners for the Heisman High School Scholarship. Sacred Heart Catholic School senior, Lela Knight, was recognized as the school winner.
From an applicant pool of thousands of high school scholar-athletes graduating from the class of 2023, more than 5,700 have been named School Winners. Students were recognized for their outstanding athletic achievements but also victories off the field. Knight sets an example for other students through her academic and athletic talents.
Knight will continue for the chance to become State Winner, National Finalist or National Winner.
