Giving Tuesday & iGiveCatholic

Sacred Heart's Fine Arts Gala and Giving Tuesday

Participation in Fine Arts not only improves students' self-expression abilities but leads to a deeper understanding of why we, as a society, are connected. Studies have shown that participating in visual art, as well as music and theater, allow students to develop a growth mindset while building self-confidence and communication skills. The arts foster empathy, mindfulness, and curiosity. Sacred Heart is simply more colorful, confident and creative because of the Arts!

The night after Giving Tuesday, the National Day of Giving, Sacred Heart Catholic School is hosting a Fine Arts Gala. All schools in the Diocese of Biloxi participate in Giving Tuesday by celebrating #iGiveCatholic. Sacred Heart has chosen Fine Arts as this year's area of focus for financial growth. Proceeds will support the 6 Fine Arts programs at The Heart: Choral, Orchestra, Percussion, Piano, Theatre and Visual Arts.

All are invited to attend the Fine Arts Gala on November 30 from 6 - 7:30 PM. Event is located at the high school campus, 510 West Pine. Casual Attire. Doors will open at 5:30 where guests can observe visual art pieces by both high school and elementary artists. Student performances will begin at 6 PM in the High School Chapel.

The event is free. If you or a business is interested in supporting the arts at The Heart, please consider sponsoring our Fine Arts Gala! The Sacred Heart Foundation aims to support the whole student, and the gala event will be a showcase for the many talented artists and performers at Sacred Heart Catholic School.
