7th Grade Tdap Vaccination Requirements

The Mississippi Department of Health requires ALL INCOMING seventh grade students to have the Tdap vaccination before they can enter school in August. This is an adolescent whooping cough (pertussis) booster, so a Tdap vaccine given on or after the 7th birthday meets the school requirement.

The Tdap vaccination is available at your local health department or from your private physician. After receiving this required vaccination, request an updated immunization form with the box “Complete for middle school, high school, university/college” checked. This updated MS 121 form must be on file with Sacred Heart Catholic School by August 1, 2018. Per state law, if we do not have this new immunization form on file your child will not be allowed to start school on August 8, 2018.

Tennis Balls

The high school is in need of used tennis balls to go on chairs. If you have any you would like to donate, drop them off at the high school office. Earn service hours by cutting an “X” in each one, so they can be used on chair legs to protect the floor!
