Senior Parents,

Every year, students leave $3 Billion in money for college unclaimed simply because they do not file the FAFSA.  Chances are great that your senior qualifies for money for college that you do not have to pay back! The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.  Don’t worry about filling out a complicated form - you can get FREE assistance with your FAFSA on November 2, 2018 here at school. More information such as what you will need to have with you at the meeting as well as how to sign up for this will be coming to you in a few weeks.  Should you choose not to take advantage of this opportunity, you may go online to FAFSA.GOV and complete the application yourself.

Remember, save the date - November 2nd!!!

The Guidance Office of Sacred Heart Catholic High School provides academic and personal counseling, college and career guidance and maintains student records, transcripts, course selection and scheduling.  During the school year, a student may be asked to meet with his or her counselor for reasons including but not limited to the following:

  • Academic progress/difficulties
  • College counseling and placement
  • Course selection and scheduling
  • Tutoring services
  • Social and peer issues
  • Conflict resolution
  • Career counseling

To request a parent-teacher conference, parents should first contact the teacher, then contact the guidance counselor, if needed.
